A member joins a voice channel and runs /voice start. BabelBot joins immediately and uses that channel's configured target languages.

What is Discord voice chat translation?

How is this different from voice note translation?
Voice notes are audio messages posted in text channels. Voice chat translation is for live calls: you talk in voice, and BabelBot posts transcripts and translations while the session is running.

Where do translations appear?

Does BabelBot store voice recordings?
No. BabelBot processes audio in memory to transcribe speech and does not keep raw recordings. What stays visible is what gets posted in Discord, like any other message.
Which plan includes voice chat translation?
