About BabelBot

Built for multilingual Discord servers

BabelBot is a Discord translation bot for communities where members speak different languages but still need one shared conversation. It focuses on automatic translation, threaded replies, linked language channels, and media translation without turning busy servers into duplicated message streams.

The product is built for server admins who need practical controls: channel rules, target languages, bridge configuration, ignored users, usage limits, and clear upgrade paths when a community needs voice, images, or higher AI capacity.

Operated independently

BabelBot is operated by Bram Suurd as an independent product. The service combines a Discord bot, a web dashboard, billing through Polar, and translation providers selected for predictable server-level usage.

The dashboard and documentation are maintained alongside the bot so product behavior, plan limits, command references, and troubleshooting guidance stay aligned with what admins see in production.

Product principles

BabelBot prioritizes readable conversations, transparent limits, and reversible configuration. Translation should be easy to enable, but admins should also be able to disable channels, avoid noisy languages, and choose delivery modes that fit their moderation style.

Support focuses on concrete server data such as guild IDs, channel IDs, timestamps, and settings. That keeps debugging useful without requiring permanent storage of original Discord message text.
