Built for alliances, clans, state groups, and any Discord community that crosses languages.

One alliance chat across your languages

Crowded mixed-language channels are hard to follow. Separate language spaces can lose the main conversation. BabelBot gives admins two clear paths.

Read the automatic translation guide

Keep everyone in shared channels

Translate messages into replies or threads. Players keep using the same channel, and you choose where translated text appears.

Connect dedicated language channels

Link language-specific channels with a bridge. BabelBot translates messages between them, so each group can follow the same conversation.

Example channel layout

  • # clan-esSpanish
  • # clan-jaJapanese
  • # clan-deGerman

# alliance-hub

English

Players post in their usual channel. BabelBot translates the message and relays it to the linked channels.

Bridge mode

Connect your language channels to the main conversation

Use a pair bridge for two language channels. Use a hub bridge when one main channel needs several translated versions. A hub supports up to 25 language channels. Each linked channel uses one bridge connection, so your plan limit still applies.

  • Edits, replies, deletions, and reactions stay synchronized for 30 days.
  • Attachments can cross linked channels without using translation quota. Supported media can also be translated when your plan includes it.

From invite to first translation in three steps

Guided setup checks your choices and confirms the first translation. You can change every setting later.

  1. 01

Add the bot to your server

Choose a Discord server where you have Manage Server permission.

  2. 02

    Pick languages and delivery

Add the languages your members read. Choose replies or threads, then add channel rules or bridges when needed.

  3. 03

    Send one test message

Post in a language that is different from your target language. Guided setup checks the first translation so you know the server is ready.

You decide where translation runs

BabelBot reads messages when it needs them for an enabled feature. It does not keep a permanent message-history database. Channel rules let you exclude admin, audit, and bot-command channels.

Permissions for enabled channels

You need Manage Server to invite BabelBot. The dashboard shows channel permission warnings when BabelBot cannot read or post where you enabled translation.

Questions from game community admins

Can BabelBot translate game chat automatically?

Yes. BabelBot detects the source language and translates messages into the target languages that the server admin chooses. Members can keep chatting without translation commands.

Can we keep separate channels for each language?

Yes. Pair bridges connect two language channels. Hub bridges connect one main channel with several language channels, so each group can follow the same conversation.

Will translations flood a busy alliance channel?

You can place translations in threads to keep the main channel readable. You can also use linked language channels and limit automatic translation to the channels that need it.

Can BabelBot keep game terms and alliance names consistent?

Yes, on Pro and above. Custom words let admins define how game terms, alliance names, and server vocabulary should read in each language. Custom words apply to AI translation only.

Is BabelBot only for game alliances?

No. BabelBot works for any multilingual Discord community. The game-alliance examples show how shared chat and dedicated language channels can work together.

Built for games. Useful beyond them.

The same controls work for study groups, support servers, creator communities, and global teams. BabelBot supports any multilingual Discord community.
