Threaded Translations

BabelBot can post translations in threads attached to the original message. When translating to multiple languages, thread mode prevents the main channel from filling with duplicate content. Talksy focuses on inline webhook delivery without thread-based organization.

Media Translation

BabelBot translates text in images, video captions, and voice notes on paid plans. Talksy does not offer image, video, or voice translation.

Followed Announcements

BabelBot translates crossposted announcements from other servers. Talksy does not publicly claim this feature.

Lifetime Option

BabelBot offers Founder Access at EUR 199 one-time for unlimited translations forever. Talksy operates on recurring monthly or annual subscriptions only.

User Install

Talksy supports user installation. Members can add it to their Discord account and use `/translate` or right-click translation in servers where the bot is not installed. BabelBot requires server installation.

Glossary

Talksy Pro includes a per-server glossary for custom translation terms. If your server uses specific jargon that general translation engines handle poorly, glossary support helps. BabelBot does not currently offer glossary features.
